Exploring the
sympathetic system

We study the sympathetic nervous system, which is a critical regulator of whole-body physiology in animals, using mouse genetics, imaging, transcriptomic, cellular and biochemical analyses. 

Our research defines how target-derived signals influence neuron development, signaling, functions, and regeneration and how neurons, in turn, contribute to the development and functions of  peripheral organs/tissues.
